Joanna Newsom is one of my favorite musicians. A truly amazing storyteller, and a master harp player, I never tire of her sound. Her debut album Milk Eyed Mender was absolutely beautiful, featuring just her voice, harp and piano woven into captivating stories that stay with you long after the music has ended. Her new album Have One On Me has a much bigger sound, integrating beats, harmonies and more of an orchestral sound. All of her work showcases her unique talent unlike any other singer songwriter out there. If you’ve never heard this girl, or just need something new and inspiring, you have got to check out Joanna Newsom.
